Mission in the News CHURCHES OF REDSTONE PRESBYTERY This page is for listing any mission project that your church is presently engaged in and would like to lift up before Redstone Presbytery in prayer. United Mornings at the United Presbyterian Church of New Kensington has been serving a freshly prepared healthy breakfast three mornings a week this summer targeting those 18 and under and adults over 65. Seventy percent of the school students in our area receive reduced or free meals during the school year and government cut-backs on aid to senior citizens has created a great need. It is an opportunity to share around the breakfast table with people of other faiths, races, ages and ethnicity.

Over a dozen area churches are represented by clergy and volunteers working under a hired food supervisor cooking, hosting, serving, praying and visiting with the 30-40 guests. Everyone is welcome to come and eat. Come and see!
