Susan Blank, Congregational Support Coordinator

 

Susan graduated from Indiana University of Pennsylvania with a degree in Home Economics Education.  Previous employment has been as a teacher of needlework and quilting for a broad range of age groups, in a variety of settings.  For many years Susan owned and operated the Ligonier Quilt Shop.  She has used her needlework skills to create banners, puppets and the Redstone stoles.  Sue and her husband John are active members of Congruity Presbyterian Church in New Alexandria.  They have three adult children.

 

Sue’s experience in Redstone Presbytery includes terms on Committee on Ministry, Committee on Preparation, Strategy for Ministry Development Team, ALP/CLP Sub-Committee, and the Coordinating Team of Presbyterian Women.  Sue is a past Moderator of the Presbytery, and served on the Mission Study Task Force of 2005-6, the Strategic Assessment Task Force of 1999 and the Pentecost 2000 Committee.  Service to the larger church includes the Theological Education Fund, Reader of Ordination Exams and the Western Presbyteries Consortium for Lay Ministry Preparation.
